Tamil Cinema

Dr. Stephen A. has gone beyond the traditional ways of looking at cinema and has designed a new paradigm for the futuristic study of Tamil cinema. The study has analyzed eight cultural elements that are relevant, dominant and sustaining Tamil cinema and proved that Tamil films have efficiently used them to connect the Tamil audience s core persona. The author rightly examines the dynamics involved in constructing, deconstructing, reinforcing and popularizing certain cultural elements.
