In response to public demand for sustainable and effective medications, a factor recently highlighted by the COVID-19 pandemic, research into how molecular hydrogen effects both plants and humans is gathering momentum, worldwide. As a student I was intrigued by the enigma surrounding the healthful effects attributed to molecular hydrogen, a typically inert compound.
