Oakwell is the property the author and her husband (along with two ragdoll cats) resides. In her words, "Oakwell tends to take care of us." It is located in a town a mile square so everything is within walking distance or can be accessed on bike. Oakwell is where medicinal herb classes have taken place for almost 20 years.
